Description:
Candidate will support the Space Launch System (SLS) Chief Engineer System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) office supporting coordination, management and tailoring of launch site range safety requirements for the SLS Program.  The candidate will work closely with Cross Program Integration Team (CPIT) to assure SLS range safety requirements are fully integrated.  Travel may be required. 
Requirements:
  • The candidate shall have 10+ years’ experience in working with NASA related flight programs and or projects working closely with Range Safety offices across NASA centers.
  • The candidate shall have expert knowledge in NPR 8715.5A Range Flight Safety Program, Program Level Requirements Documents and Terms and Reference Documents.
  • The candidate shall have experience in facilitating vertical and horizontal integration of requirements across major Program/Elements Offices.
  • The candidate shall coordinate and facilitate design/data reviews, closure of action items and management information flow.
  • The candidate will have familiarity with Centerwide Action Tracking System (CAITS) and support coordination of inputs across the SLS Program.
  • The candidate will provide integration and analysis of data and/or products using various software tools to include MS Office suite.
  • The candidate will maintain an element management integrated “Smart Book” to capture a snapshot highlight of current program activities and status.
  • The candidate will provide logistical support for meetings, reviews, working groups, panels and boards both at their resident site at Marshall Space Flight Center and at other NASA locations
  • The candidate will update NASA Windchill Working Group wiki sites.
PREFERRED:
The candidate should have familiarity with the current Space Launch System (SLS) program. A working knowledge of ICE Windchill Project and/or the Cradle Database is preferred.
